Survival Mode is a game mode in Street Fighter V.

Description[]

The player battles a set number of opponents in an attempt to gain a high score and win as many fights as they can in a row. As they win battles, they'll gain points that go towards their score. However, they can spend your points between matches to power up for the next fight.

Point are earned each round based on several factors. Getting the first hit or stunning the opponent tacks on bonus points for the round. Players earn a higher score if they KO their opponent with an EX move or with a Critical Art. In addition, players can earn a chunk of points for getting a Perfect in the round.

However, the character's health meter and time during the round are the biggest contributing factor to the player's score. Finishing a round in a short amount of time or with almost a full health bar results in more points. Conversely, finishing a round with a short health bar or KOing the opponent with so much time gone off of the clock gives the player fewer points. Players can also use the Double Down option to double, triple or tenfold their score.

Winning in Survival Mode awards the player with more colors for their character's costumes, as well as EXP and Fight Money. It is important to note that the colors can only be unlocked for the costume their character fights in. The player needs to complete Survival Mode multiple times to unlock all of the characters' different costume colors.

In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, the player has the option to select the order of the opponents: Fixed or Random. In Fixed, only the initial 16 characters will appear in a predetermined order. In Random, all currently-released characters, including those from Season 1-3, will appear in random order – except for the “boss” character that appears in a different color every 10 stages.

In addition, players will have a chance to earn Fortune Tickets for Fighting Chance by achieving a specific, target score in all four difficulties. Players can earn up to 20 Fortune Tickets every month; five for each difficulty.
