The Switch Claw (スイッチングクロー Suitchingu Kuroo?) is one of Vega's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Description
Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing punch, Vega does a quick spin to change his stance. Vega will switch from claw stance to bare-handed stance, or vice versa, depending on which stance he is in. However, if his claw has been knocked off, Vega will only switch to bare-hand stance, even when he's already in the stance.
Tactics
Because of this move's fast startup, it's challenging for opponents to punish Vega as he changes his stance. While this move only switches Vega's stance, it is fast enough to link into other normal attacks if he hits the opponent with Heavy Punch.
When in claw stance, Vega has a variety long range normals to keep opponents at a distance. However, because of this extended range, it makes it difficult for Vega to perform combos. Conversely, the bare-handed stance gives Vega different tools with combo potentials and command grabs. In this stance, range is limited which means Vega has to constantly be close to his opponent.
The Switch Claw can also be used during blockstrings. When Vega has the opponent on their heels, he can change stances to gain meter while applying pressure.
