Description

Chun-Li delivering an elbow to Cammy's ribs during Taiji Fan.
- "Disrupt your opponent's balance with an elbow strike, scoop them up, and toss them behind you. Throw your opponent while switching places with them."
- — Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) and pushing backwards near an opponent. After grabbing her opponent's wrist, Chun-Li steps past her opponent, turns and delivers an elbow strike to their ribs. With them temporarily stunned and still gripping their wrist, Chun-Li bends forward while placing her other arm in front of her opponent's midsection. As her opponent bends forward with her, they are flipped over Chun-Li's arm until land on their back.
Tactics

Chun-Li flipping Cammy over.
Taiji Fan allows her to switch sides with the opponent; useful for putting the opponent back in the corner when pressured. Unlike most of Chun-Li's back throws in Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V which leaves her opponent full-screen distance between them, Chun-Li's Taiji Fan back throw leaves her opponent at footsies range, which is Chun-Li's favorable range compared to most of the cast. This allows her to walk forward and maintain offensive pressure with another throw or a cancellable normal to fish for a Counter Hit.
Trivia
The move is a reference to the Chinese folding fan commonly seen in Tai Chi martial arts.
