I'm not entirely sure but I think it could be from the "[[Secret Files|Secret File]]" for ''SFA2''.--[[Special:Contributions/158.174.97.127|158.174.97.127]] 14:58, August 25, 2020 (UTC)

Charlie Is Abel Theory

Sf4-abel

ABle

Charlie

Charlie

In The Street Fighter Games of Capcom, it was implied That Charlie could be ABLE. Many others wonder the one who saved able was the real charlie. But in fact in the Street Fighter comic Charlie did rescue able from the Flames of Shadaloo's colapsing base. But what if charlie is able? What if able saved himself? what if able is charlies second personality? You know kind of a jackle and hide thing. Well its just a thought if you pay attention to Ables and charlies physical triats for example the hair; able has a patch of hair in the same spot where charlie has is spike lock, you can spot some commen similarity. ill add 2 seperate pictures Of Charlie and Able..see if you can spot out any similarities —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.81.199.78 (talkcontribs)

Huh? First off, it's Abel, not able. Also, no. Abel and Guile meet face to face in their SFIV Rival scene(s), and if he was Charlie, Guile would have instantly recognized him. It's much more likely (as is denoted in Abel's "theories" section) that Charlie is either the man who rescued Abel or the man who cared for him - hence Abel's recognition of Guile's Sonic Boom.
In unrelated news, I tried to put my reason for undoing the last revision but for whatever reason it cut it off. As Street Fighter Alpha was released in 1991 and Metal Slug was released in 1996, it would be Marco that resembles Charlie, not the other way around. I also don't think it's a pertinent enough comparison / fact / even trivia entry to warrant being on this page. Opinions?--User:KhaosKontrol

If Charlie inspired other characters in other franchises, it's relevant trivia. Of course, I've never player Metal Slug so I don't know how much of a resemblance there actually is...--Evilsbane 15:12, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Glasses

Doesn't he have an intro or two that seem to show his specs to be reading-glasses? 208.66.39.59 06:28, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

Charlie a Marine?

I'm not sure why it is speculated that Charlie was a Marine Corps officer rather than an Air Force officer. In the wiki, it states that Charlie and Guile's fighting style is somehow similar to moves found in the U.S. Marine Corps' MCMAP program, however that program was started in 2001, whereas Charlie appeared as early as 1995. It is also stated that Charlie was Guile's commanding officer, and Guile is most certainly in the U.S. Air Force. --USSshank 31 March, 2013; 1354Z

Street Fighter V

If Charlie indeed is in Street Fighter V, I suspect he may be actually Shadow instead. Akuma-sf3-tauntMuhammadrizkya 18:44, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

Charlie's return

Who do you think is responsible for bringing him back or keeping him alive? It's safe to assume that Shadaloo did it but I think it could've been Gill's illuminati organization.

Any thoughts guys?

Inconsistency

If Nash was supposed to be dead until SFV, how did he rescue Abel? did it happen before SFA2 or something?Strawhatmsd (talk) 06:15, September 7, 2017 (UTC)

Charlie Nash’ backstory and “suplemental materials”

What are the “supplementary materials” constituting the source for this backstory?:

According to supplementary materials, Charlie Nash's past saw him as a young U.S. Marine enrolled university student with a major in psychology and an interest in martial arts. His career eventually saw him climb the ranks, and become skilled enough to win the Pan American Martial Arts Tournament.
