Ibuki's Pages[]

A lot of Ibuki's pages need to be cut down and merged with their pre-SFV counterparts. --Pootissnake 11:38, June 17, 2021 (PDT)

I understand where you are coming from but I mostly disagree. Sure we can get rid of fluff and should when possible but I like for pages of attacks to state individually in terms of appearance how they are used. Some of the older characters especially tend to have vague advice in tactics that only applies for some games

Furthermore while they appear similar there are key differences in terms of functionality that I feel merits a different page. Going with Hammer Kick and the SFV overhead that looks similar (forget the name) Hammer Kick tends to have unique actions when it hits an aerial opponent while the SFV version just air resets like the majority of normal attacks in the franchise do (among other things). I do think some discussion here would be good. 5'3 ninja (talk) 04:40, 19 June 2021 (UTC)

Kobekudaki is the same move in Japanese, it was just given a different name in earlier titles, like the difference between Screw Piledriver and Spinning Piledriver. We could talk about its adjustments per game, but I think that if Bull Revenger can go from being a super combo to a special move and still have the same page, it would be fine to do the same for a move like that, not to mention how Kobekudaki's own page says it was from SFIII. --Pootissnake 03:02, June 19, 2021 (PDT)
