Okay[]
The information recently added seems to fly, far as scope goes. The only things left to do is see if we can properly arrange and slightly trim said info; specifically, I feel the G-Project may need its own article if/once enough information on it is uncovered. Lord G. matters. Talk to me.

Illuminati or Secret Society?[]
Should the article's name be changed to Secret Society or should it remain Illuminati? From what I can tell, there seems to be quite a large number of sources (like for example the SFV site and the 2015 WW Encyclopedia) that refer to the organization as Secret Society. While the name Illuminati is more wellknown, it seems to be more or less unofficial and never mentioned once in-game (in Japanese versions or even Japanese official sources) as far as I know, I could be wrong of course.
I saw the Capcom Unity ref link for the name Illuminati but I get the impression that it was the person who posted the blog refering to the viewers as Illuminati members rather then official proof. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this?--155.4.135.92 09:25, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- I think there's a case for the page being changed to "Secret Society", as it seems to be the most commonly used name in the current localization. "Illuminati" is definitely a canon name, as the original publication of the World Warrior Encyclopedia uses it, but I can't find many other official sources calling it that, aside from a few Japanese anecdotes saying "Illuminati" is the American name for it. It's just called the Secret Society in Japanese, and that's what SFV seems to be using. I'm fine with either name for the article, but does anyone else have any thoughts? Change name to "Secret Society"[]
I wrote something similar here about a year ago, but I still feel the name of this page should be changed to "Secret Society", as that appears to be the official name. "Illuminati" should stay on the page as it's been used officially, but in almost every single mention of the organization in SFV, "Secret Society" is used as the proper name. It's worth noting the name "Illuminati" doesn't seem to exist in the Japanese version, and it's just called the Secret Society over there as well, and in the Udon comics, "Illuminati" isn't used once, it's always "Secret Society", so I feel it should be changed. Thoughts? BubbleRevolution (talk) 06:36, October 7, 2018 (UTC)
- I agree that it should be changed to "Secret Society". I asked Szakigeri about it and he said that the whole page will need a revision to have "Illuminati" replaced with "Secret Society" and any referrals to "Illuminati" will have to be redirected to this page. Also said that "Illuminati" doesn't have to be erased, however, it must be noted in the overview, etc.--155.4.135.92 13:42, October 7, 2018 (UTC)
No no no, Illuminati should stay on the page in a couple of instances, but it needs citation from official game material (like the Unity blog). -- Saki – At your service. 13:46, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

In-game source for "Illuminati"[]
In Street Fighter V, the description of the Street Fighter III Arcade route says the following (emphasis mine):
Released in February 1997, SFIII introduced the game-changing parry system.
Story Chronological Order: 6
A new generation of fighters clash against the Illuminati, led by Gill.
I'm surprised no one noticed this earlier. ThunderMite42 (talk) 04:26, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Thats the English version, does it say the same thing in the Japanese version?109.228.153.221 04:59, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
