Description

Executed by pressing Medium Punch and Medium Kick simultaneously, Lucia performs three consecutive roundhouse kicks toward her opponent. The first kick is aimed at their midsection. The second roundhouse is toward their legs. The final kick is aimed at their head. If any of the three kicks hit the opponent, Lucia follows up with a spinning back fist.
Tactics

This multi-hitting kick can be cancelled from most of her normal attacks, primarily used to end combos. It has a 9-frame startup and has decent range. While the damage and stun is minimal at best, Lucia gains a bit of V-Meter using this attack. By ending combos with Tap-Kick, she can obtain her V-Trigger much quicker. In addition, her V-Skill can be cancelled into her V-Trigger or Critical Art on the third hit of the attack. If canceled from her V-Trigger, then Tap-Kick can extend combos for optimal damage.
Tap-Kick also gives Lucia frame advantage on hit. Because she is at +2 on hit and within range of her opponent, she has a plethora of options to mix-up her opponent and maintain pressure. She can go for a throw to beat out her 3-frame normals or go for shimmies to open up their defenses. The regular version of her V-Skill does not result in a knockdown. However, if her first V-Trigger is active, then Tap-Kick inflicts more damage and knocks down the opponent.
