Team Up Technique, known as the "Two Platoon of Love and Friendship" (愛と友情のツープラトン? "Two Platoon" for short) in Japan, is a team attack featured in the Rival Schools series.
Description
The Team Up Technique is a team up cinematic attack where the player's character calls for their partner to join in to do massive damage. Although, excluding the first hit to activate it, some techniques do no damage to the opponent, but rather give recover Life or fill the Guts. Overall, the Team Up Techniques can change the battle by giving the player an advantage. It requires 2 levels of the Burning Vigor Gauge to be activated.
In Rival Schools: United by Fate, most Team Up Techniques have a more dynamic version with different camera angles that play when the opponent's life is low enough to be finished by the attack.
In Project Justice, if both players have three characters when a Team Up Technique is used, the receiver can use 1 level of the Burning Vigor Gauge to activate a Team Up Technique Counter, which makes one of the receiver's allies and the user's third ally face each other for a short time. If the receivers hits the user first, the Team Up Technique is countered, but if the user hits first, the counter fails.

Note: The techniques introduced in Nekketsu Seisyun Nikki 2 and Project Justice never received an official English translation.
