The Tenha is one of Akuma's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Street Fighter V Arcade-Stick-Left+Arcade-Button-HPunch

Description Edit

Executed by pressing back and Heavy Punch, Akuma performs an upward palm strike that hits almost vertically above him.

Besides Goshoryuken, this move is one of Akuma's anti-air tools. It has a 6-frame startup, which is faster than some of his Medium and Heavy normals. It also hits the opponent twice and launches them into a juggle state, allowing Akuma to follow-up with other attacks, such as Sekia Goshoha or Tatsumaki Zankukyaku. However, this move is -10 on block, making Tenha one of Akuma's unsafest unique attacks.
