The Tenha (天破 Tenha?, "Heaven Break") is one of Akuma's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Street Fighter 6 | + |
Description[]
Executed by pressing back and Heavy Punch, Akuma performs an upward palm strike that hits almost vertically above him.
Tenha returns in Street Fighter 6 but no longer as a command normal. It instead becomes his crouching heavy punch, replacing the long reaching palm strike to the midsection unique to Akuma and Gouken with a more traditional uppercut.
Tactics[]
Besides Goshoryuken, this move is one of Akuma's anti-air tools. It has a 6-frame startup, which is faster than some of his Medium and Heavy normals. It also hits the opponent twice and launches them into a juggle state, allowing Akuma to follow up with other attacks, such as Sekia Goshoha or Tatsumaki Zankukyaku. However, this move is -10 on block, making Tenha one of Akuma's least safe unique attacks.
