Fei Long uses his leg and hooks it with the opponent's, flipping over them to the other side. It is not a move that inflicts damage, but is rather meant for positioning, as the technique allows Fei Long to trick his opponent and set up different kinds of combos. Since it is a command grab, it cannot be blocked. The EX Special version introduced in the Street Fighter IV series allows Fei Long to grab his opponent at a little more distance than the normal version, and is also faster. Another property of the EX Tenshin is that immediately after using it, the next attack Fei Long follows up with will be unblockable.

Zenpou Tenshin

Yun/Yang lunges forward while attempting to grab the opponent; if successful, he grapples the opponent's shoulders and flips over them, landing on the far side. The "attack" does no damage and is used to disorient the opponent; immediately afterward, there is a split-second window for the Lee brother to follow up with an attack or combo. The technique is almost identical to Fei Long's version.
