Tactics

As an overhead attack, the main purpose is to break through the defenses of an opponent who insists on crouch guarding (as the attack must be blocked from a standing position). The draw back of this attack is that it causes considerable delay; and this attack can easily be countered by an aggressive opponent by hitting Urien before he throws it.
However, this move is a great mix-up tool which can catch a lot of opponents who are constantly crouch guarding. Like most overheads, this move is unsafe on block. While this move is decent by itself, Urien's overhead is also a part of his Break Rush target combo. Cancelling into his V-Trigger from his target combo makes +9 on hit. It is also +2 on block when linking into Aegis Reflector, making it a safe way to apply offensive pressure.
