The Tesso is one of Young Zeku's throws in Street Fighter V.

Input
Street Fighter V Arcade-Button-LPunch+Arcade-Button-LKick (Forward)

Description[]

Tesso

Zeku flipping Cammy around using Tesso.

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Zeku first grabs his opponent by the collar and yanks them toward him. As they stumble towards Zeku, he places one hand under his opponent's leg, while placing the other hand under their chin. Zeku then pushes upward on his opponent's leg, causing them to flip a couple of times in midair before crashing stomach-first onto the ground. If no directional input or button is pressed, Zeku poses for several moments before dropping back to his stance.

Tactics[]

This move inflicts more damage than Old Zeku's forward throw. While this throw inflicts less damage and stun than his back throw, it leaves him somewhat close to his opponent. However, Zeku doesn't get much follow-up after his forward throw. He can try to attack low with his sliding Crouching Heavy Kick, while activating his V-Trigger to make it safe. If Bushinryu Shingekiko is active, Zeku can use Standing Heavy Kick as a mid-range poke to beat 3-frame normals, which allows him to follow-up with a combo during his V-Trigger.

If Zeku has his opponent in the corner, he can fish for Crush Counters with Crouching Hard Punch, which also beats out 3-frame normals. As his opponent is recovering, he can dash forward and perform his target combo for some respectable damage. He can also dash in and link Standing Light Kick, followed by Light Hozanto into his V-Skill. This allows him to not only inflict some good damage on his opponent, but it also lets him build V-Meter in the process. Because this throw is more dangerous in the corner, it is important for Zeku to constantly pressure his opponent with a combination of his normals and throws to keep them guessing.
