Description[]
Executed by performing two down motions and pressing punch (or pressing down and Special Attack for Modern Control), JP jabs the tip of his staff into the floor, creating an arching spike of Psycho Power from the ground. The Overdrive version pushes 2 spikes up from the ground in rapid succession.
Tactics[]
JP excels in zoning the opponent with a variety of projectiles and setups, along with Torbalan and Departure. Triglav can be used to keep the opponent on their heels and at a distance. Despite its 22-frame startup, the projectile comes out of the ground. This makes it difficult for the opponent to anticipate where the projectile appear. It is not only -2 on block, but also pushes the opponent back slightly to make it tougher for them to punish. Triglav also results in a knockdown, allowing JP to setup a Departure or throw more projectiles at the opponent. Against other zoning characters, this move is likely to hit the opponent without nullifying the projectile; though it may result in a trade.
The strength of the punch button pressed determines the range of the move. The version is the closest, while the version travels midscreen. The Triglave has the furthest range (almost full-screen). As for the OD versions, the two punch buttons pressed also determines the range of the two spikes erupting from the ground. results in the spikes appearing close to JP. has two spikes erupting from midscreen, while blasts two spikes near fullscreen.
Each version of Triglav can be used to end juggle combos from a distance. The OD version launches the opponent higher, allowing JP to continue the combo and inflict more damage. After hitting the opponent with Triglav, JP can cancel into his Level 3 Super Art for optimal damage.

Trivia[]
- Triglav (триглав) is the Russian word for "three-headed one", named after the god of the Pomeranians, worshipped in Szczecin, Wolin and Brenna (now Brandenburg).
- This move is similar to Twelve's N.D.L., as both special attacks involve the user erecting spikes from the ground at a chosen distance.
