Tsurane Uchiage

The Tsurane Uchiage (連ね打ち上げ, Lined Up Launching Uppercut^?) is one of Oro's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Description

Executed by pressing Medium Kick, followed by Medium Punch, Oro first delivers a knee strike. He finishes the combo with an uppercut to knock his opponent in the air.

Tactics

This is Oro's primary target combo. While the Standing Medium Kick has limited range, it can be linked from Oro's fully charged Standing Heavy Punch. He can confirm the Standing Medium Kick with Standing Medium Punch to score a knockdown and create separation from his opponent. After hitting the opponent with the second attack of the target combo, Oro can also cancel into V-Trigger to continue the combo and inflict additional damage.

Oro can also cancel the Standing Medium Punch into one of his V-Skills. If equipped with his first V-Skill, then Oro performs Oi Onibi. This allows him to throw out a slow-moving, bouncing ball of energy with three different trajectories put his opponent in a potential mix-up, or keep them on their heels with an oncoming projectile. If equipped with his second V-Skill, then Oro performs Oi Minomushi. This let's Oro hop toward his opponent and gives him an opportunity to follow-up with an overhead chop or downward axe kick for a decent combo ender.
