Hi, I'm an admin for the Street Fighter Wiki community. Welcome and thank you for your edit to Cammy/Quotes! If you need help getting started, check out our help pages or contact me or another admin here. For general help, you could also stop by Community Central to explore the forums and blogs.
Please leave me a message if I can help with anything. Enjoy your time at Street Fighter Wiki!
I remember you, you're the same user as Ryonaguy or maybe GyakuRyonaMale from Youtube who put the male Tekken guys into a perverted beating while wearing a fundoshi without a rear apron mod especially their emotion of having pain when they got beat up, lol. This time you were posting about Cammy being beaten into a pulp from the character's Critical Art. Have you no shame? I tried reporting you at youtube for all the mess you had made in sexual contents. Like other users says, try other characters aside from Cammy. If you keep undo this message, I might report this to the admin. Because you can't admit it that you were a big fan of Cammy especially beating the Tekken guys in a gay manner.
@CammyRyona: Hi, I don't know why you removed that message earlier but I say it again: atleast try to show other opponents beside Cammy in images and gif animations. Not everyone enjoys seeing Cammy getting beaten up/defeated in every single attack image/gifs like you do.--188.8.131.52 16:50, April 4, 2018 (UTC)
@CammyRyona: Thanks for the apology. As long as you try adding other opponents besides Cammy (as well as the ones besides Cammy performing basic attacks, and also images where none of the fighters are Cammy) every now and then we're good. Thanks for replying.--184.108.40.206 05:50, April 5, 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I see you undid my changes to Tiger's SFV Super page.
I can understand why you undid it, but I think more characters deserve a chance to be on as exampes more than just gallery. The picture I put was the same as the one before but with a different character. Thanks for your time.AtomicDropped (talk) 06:13, September 8, 2018 (UTC)
Hello, I do agree with you in the sense that you use more than just cammy. However, I have only seen others in moves that are not throws that do not have special cinematics. Stuff like birdie throwing something in his VT2, or individual attacks. In most moves that start up custom angles (cinematics) or throws It is usually cammy guaranteed when it comes from you. I myself am quite familiar with the Ryona genre and understand why it would be like that.
I am not tryng to start beef with anyone considering I am fairly new. I have even added pics in some moves that didn't have any and genuinely want to contribute to the site. I just think in moves that trigger cinematics in the pages we could use more than cammy there, There was already a pic of cammy up there and I thought I could change it up a bit. AtomicDropped (talk) 06:24, September 8, 2018 (UTC)
My only intention was just to add variety. In the page itself I saw 2 pictures of Cammy at different parts of the super. So I wanted to match one of the pictures closely and put a different character just for variety's sake. my interntion was never to undermine your (or anyone else's) work. Honestly Cammy taking it hard does not bother me (or a certain community) Thanks for all you do. AtomicDropped (talk) 06:45, September 8, 2018 (UTC)
Hi again, I noticed you change the picture on Yami Kazura.
The picture that was there as the example seemed to be pixelated. it could be because of the method of capture, was it taken from a capture card? the bitrate might not be able to get the motion without degredation of quality. My intent was to put a picture there that was from a still frame from a maxed out PC version as the example. I even used the same charcters you did just for good will.
There is a way to work around that in Playstation 4 for future reference.
First setting your capture method to the highest possible bitrate is always useful, but what you can do is have a match with 2 controllers and include the move(s) you would want to have an example of. Then after your desired character wins you can then go to show replay, disable hud and then you can use the trigger buttons (I think) to go frame by frame. If you leave the still picture it will look much better when you take the screen shot. You can not move the camere as far as my knoledge with the PS4 but the still method is much friendlier on H.264 capture than recording in motion.
Hiya, I like the work you have been doing. I was gone for a while.
Just wanted to ask. The pictures you put are sometimes overly big. could you size them down a bit? Not like the original pictures are big but how they appear in the articles if that makes sense. AtomicDropped (talk) 02:35, October 25, 2018 (UTC)
Do whatever you need to. If you're going to have a seperate gallery for the V-Trigger II, then do that as well. I'm lax on the consistancy, but take your time, there's no need to rush. The Q (talk) 01:46, November 19, 2018 (UTC).
Not really important, I just think it is nice to note that we are literally 1 page away from tying Smashpedia in number of total pages. Just thought you would want to know since you make pages. 5'3 ninja (talk) 06:16, December 16, 2018 (UTC)
hi i'm just a regular editor, it's been a long while but i just wanted to warn you on another editor who goes by the name Blazeseed366, on the Tekken Wiki i was rightfully banned but due to a misunderstanding on the trivia on one of the characters there since 2017, later on i requested to be unbanned last year and things were fine, but at some point last year, someone under a different name edited on a page on one of the characters being that i get email notifications on whos editing on whatever page, i saw something on that same page where a Tekken character: Leo's family in the profile says: Their Mother (and) Their Father, Leo is only one character thats being described, so i changed that to it's original format as: Mother (and) Father, it got unedited eventually, so i changed it back, then i got banned. now, i've seen posts of other people who have done edits and have had a hard time with this moderator and when i complain to the other modorators about Blazeseed366 they say she tends to be a certain way where she acts like she owns the Wiki and has a temper, i just wanted to say to be on the look out for that person cause the way how she does things isn't right and unprofessional as a moderator, i've been to one other Wiki's where the mods ask the reason for any changed edits before they give someone a ban this Blazeseed366 person doesn't, and couldn't care less if she bans anyone and would rrather argue or just ignore instead of resolving an issue rationally like a normal human being. i'm not in for any trouble i follow the rules just like anyone else so theres no need to ban someone over a little editing especially if it's considered an error.Evilcivilian (talk) 01:22, January 25, 2019 (UTC)
Help with imagesEdit
Hi CammyRyona. You are doing a great job with character variety in your attack images. Can I ask you to help with the same thing in other gameplay fields as well? Which includes (but not limited to) Combo, Cross Art, Cross Assault, Cross Cancel, Cross Rush, Launching, Joystick Positions, Counter Hit, Knockdown, Juggling, Stun, Super Armor, Technical, Trials, Crouch Tech, Pandora and its gameplay, Option Select, Shimmy, Super Charge, Win Quote, Switch Cancel, Walk Speed and Overhead?
I only noticed this recently but its weird and uncomfortable how this wikia have gotton more and more Ibuki favoritism in one way or another since atleast November last year. There are a few variety now and then but the amount pale compared to the Ibuki pics. Whatever its attack pages (that are not related to her) or other gameplay/terminology related content its almost always her either as the 'player fighter' or the opponent, and in the case of SFxT its always Ling Xiaoyu as the opponent. I'm aware that it somewhat used to be the same way with your images of Cammy when you were new to this wikia but I don't recall it going on for very long and you have come a long way since then. Please help out with character variety images, thanks in advance.--220.127.116.11 05:27, January 26, 2019 (UTC).
Hi I want to reply to this as I want to say a few things on the topic, I was specifically asked to not use Ibuki so much, specifically as the term "beat up" as it is said here. I play Ibuki as a main in SFIV, SFXT, and SFV (even though I retired from that game since I didn't like it). If you notice, I have been using Ibuki as an example of advanced gameplay more and more. Pages like Crouch Tech, Shimmy, and Option Select are pages for advanced gameplay that I myself created. I can not make advanced gameplay examples with characters I do not play. The biggest example would be Safe Jump, I do not know set ups or timings for other characters.
The "Character variety" Cammy Ryona has is very selective. regular attacks are any character, but a grab, or an attack with cinematics is always Cammy. I am not trying to throw Cammy Ryona under the bus by saying this, but I do not think it is "real" character variety, rather more a trick so he doesn't get the same heat I do.
Yes I used Ibuki recently for Cross Art, but that is because I wasn't connected to the internet and SFXT has some weird DRM that not all characers are available if you do not sign in (try it out if you do not believe me). I did those while I waited for internet to come back. Also a lot of those pages are made more detailed and specific because I contribute. If you notice I take many pages that are in need of images and I provide examples, the biggest example is Win Quote, look at the transformation of the page, yes I had help but I provided most of the examples. I would also like to state I do not inhibit others from editing or contributing their own images, I also have provided more characters when I can, I have even contributed a 1 frame combo (rather hard to do) in the Combo page.5'3 ninja (talk) 05:48, January 26, 2019 (UTC)
My point still stands, and keep in mind that its not only all the gameplay/terminology-related content thats been getting a lot of Ibuki images. Also, there is no reason whatsoever why you can't have other characters you don't play as or don't like as examples in advanced gameplay articles (whatever you created them or not). If you don't know how to do certain moves like set ups or timings (among others) with other fighters besides Ibuki, why don't you take time to learn them? I agree that CammyRyona can work with using other fighters then just Cammy for grabs/attacks with cinematics but other then that he has improved, and can still do better. I don't want to get into a huge fight here as it will be a waste of everyone's time and benefit no one but there is no denying that the SF wikia has been getting a lot of Ibuki favoritism since last year, and I know I'm not the only person who has notice this.--18.104.22.168 06:20, January 26, 2019 (UTC).
Take a look at Option Select, do you realize I have been using Ibuki in said game and advancing her metagame since the game came out? That is why the examples are in that game. It is a little unreasonable to demand me to "learn" other characters, it would be like me damanding everyone in this wiki steps up and makes at least 7 edits per day. You also mentioned Pandora, do you realize that the page had 4 edits in 2016 and a grand total of a single edit in 2017? I care more about facts than who is featured, SFXT was released in March 2012 and since that time from now not many people have stepped up the way I have when it comes to that game here. The pages were full of misinformation that I caught and corrected (like pandora giving infinite meter). Also I would like to mention in pages like Chain Combo and Win Quote I have asked for help from people to find examples and no one did, so I ended up having to provide most examples myself. It doesn't matter if it is Ibuki displaying the tactic as long as it is displayed.5'3 ninja (talk) 06:22, January 26, 2019 (UTC)
AtomicDropped, try to understand the difference between a suggestion and demanding something. Both this anon 109 and CammyRyona were suggesting something, not making a demand. And yes, it does matter who is displaying the tactic, especially if terms of character variety.--22.214.171.124 07:27, December 16, 2019 (UTC)
@126.96.36.199 My understanding of a Wikia is everyone provides in a way they want (as long as it isn't vandalizing). The pure fact is that my understanding of SF games comes from 3 games, SFIV, SFXT, and to a lesser extent SFV. That is why you do not see me post about games like Alpha and the III games for example. Most of my experience does come as an Ibuki specialist and she has 3 distinct playstyles in all three games. I will accept criticism of the hit images but unlike Cammy with... Cammy I also use her for the advanced stuff too, not just "beat up" what annoyed me earlier today is that Cammy edited a page that I intend as a way to explain to SF players what each frame means and destroyed some meanings, the cinematic frame one really set me off as he changed the info to some crap about some stance and removed my meaning completely.
If you notice I do not delete or replace stuff like pictures. 158 and Cammy both change my images all the time and generally I do not fight it, if anything Cammy is much more defensive. I have tested him sometimes in the past and when a cammy image is removed he fights to keep it in the page and it is a struggle and when he can't keep it in the main page he will just put it in the gallery. If someone has a problem with my examples of how the game runs (which is accurate) and wants to put their own that is fine, I think I proved that today, but I want actual information that players can use, not lore or other stuff common to the wiki.5'3 ninja (talk) 07:47, December 16, 2019 (UTC)
So what's your explanation for always using Ling Xiaoyu as the opponent in your SFxTK images and gifs? Thats another lack-of-variety issue right there.--188.8.131.52 07:56, December 16, 2019 (UTC)
Again, My understanding of what a wikia is means that people can contribute in their own style to a greater community. You mention character variety let me give a SFXT example (and why it doesn't matter to me too much, remember this is from someone who cares more about gameplay). In my Neckbreaker edits (I individualized the info for the three games btw) I said that Neckbreaker works good against Alisa's many chainsaw Tekken Strings (I added info on what that is too btw) I said that Neck Breaker is a good Low Profile and can go under said attacks. I imagine anyone with reasonable skill can use their own character that they know has their own low profile like Raven and Asuka and apply the same concept without me having to specifically state it.
While I am working to explain frames (and being opposed) look at what the greater wiki is doing. Seth is announced and everyone comes out of the wood works to edit Seth info, but literally no one has bothered to explain how the Priority System of attacks in SFV works.--5'3 ninja (talk) 08:03, December 16, 2019 (UTC)
Soul Sphere and Soul Reflect Edit
Hello CammyRyona, my name is Wizzy, and I would like to speak with you about your recent character moves edits, specifically concerning your latest additions with Menat and her moveset. As we speak, you're about one page away from completing her unique attacks before moving towards her specials, but as I noticed on your edits, you're providing a link that says "Soul Sphere (Menat)", and that's highly concerning to me because there already exists a page. Also, there's no need include the parentheses to describe that the move belongs to her, because I did the research, and Rose does not have a move with the same name, so there's no need for it. And even if Rose is announced for Season 4 and has a similar-named move -- which I highly doubt, in my personal opinion -- then depending on how it's performed and whether or not they're the same, it's best to keep them both on the same page, such as shared moves like the Sonic Boom (shared by Guile, Charlie, even Seth), the Shakunetsu Hadoken, the Psycho Cannon (shared by M. Bison and Ed), etc., even the Soul Reflect (Rose/Menat).
So therefore, I'm kindly asking you to please keep your future edits on the aforementioned Soul Sphere on this page, and whatever you do, PLEASE DON'T RENAME THE PAGE WITH THE PARENTHESES, it's to provide easier search for visitors and saving on redundancy.
And also, speaking on Soul Reflect, it would be wise to please keep your additions on the same page, because it's more easier and convienient in the long run, instead of creating a redundant page that would eventually have all of its information be merged later. And whatever you do, don't edit on this page (Kamal), because I am planning to have The Admin delete the page sometime later, right before you take some minor information and copy it onto the Soul Reflect page.
So anyway, that's all I have for right now, I'll be checking out the edits very carefully and letting you know if there are any errors, but let's work together to create a descriptive move list that visitors will come by, check out, and deeply understand the mechanics. Please contact me on my user page if you have any comments, concerns, and/or questions. Holla at me, bruh! WizzyULTIMATEbreed (talk) 02:51, March 2, 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I think your trial idea is a great addition to the wiki, just was thinking. I feel that videos compared to gifs are a better reference in this scenario. Gifs can take longer to load and people trying to see how they are done can simply fast forward and go back. Either way good job with your current work. 5'3 ninja (talk) 02:37, April 13, 2019 (UTC)
Hey, yeah that would be fine I did those late at night so I literally uploaded and went to sleep. I think I am up to VOL 3 in terms of recording, still need to do the rest. --5'3 ninja (talk) 00:20, April 15, 2019 (UTC)
I don't wanna blame Saki for anything because he has a life outside the net but no action has been taken against this troll yet so how about we contact the VSTF staff so Elmidae can be banned quickly?--184.108.40.206 05:42, May 5, 2019 (UTC)
Done. Hopefully this will be resolved. Special thanks to you and the other contributors here for showing vigilance and awareness. CammyRyona (talk) 05:49, May 5, 2019 (UTC)
It took a while folks. But Elimdae has finally been banned from all across the FANDOM. Thanks to everyone who showed incredible patience, vigilance, poise, and professionalism during this ordeal. Let's put this behind us and continue to grow. CammyRyona (talk) 06:28, May 5, 2019 (UTC)
Response to question Edit
I answered on my page but I think it is better if I answer here.
Doing each individually helps my work flow. What I do is I get the screenshot I need, then post. This is because I have my files set to "date" to make sure the most recent one appears at the same spot all the time. When I do them all then upload I tend to lose track which ones I have and haven't done yet when I get in the middle. I could try better to post all at the same time if it is an issue though.5'3 ninja (talk) 02:45, May 13, 2019 (UTC)
Hi CammyRyona! I am the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Wiki. I am here to help you and the community out with anything you need. Additionally, I will be the liaison to full-time Fandom staff. Please if you ever have any questions regarding the wiki, editing, styling, infoboxes, templates, etc, don't hesitate to ask me, take care! - --awyman13 (Talk/Work) 03:28, May 14, 2019 (UTC)
Character Renders Edit
Hello CammyRyona. I was wondering if you could add more renders to each SFV characters galleries like Sakura, Menat, Lucia, Poison and others, since it's hard to get the renders form thr CFN website. Anyway keep up with your great work!—Preceding unsigned comment added by PeterTalk99 (talk • contribs)
Can't you guys just post all of the pics at once instead of spamming. Its areally annoying
That's better. Thank you
Frame Issue Edit
If you want to change the pictures (btw Ryu 3 times, bet no one will bat an eye lawl also cammy be there too dawg!) that is fine. I believe pics should have a short description of the overall context though.
My problem is that you are changing the intent of my descriptions of each frame kind. The Cinematic Frames is my biggest issue. I am discussing an in-game interaction of how Ingame interactions work, in this case cinematic frame with regular frame data. My intent for my articles is to help new players understand the inner mechanics. Visuals and lore are nice but we have enough people there but I think this wiki is behind others like the Smash Wiki, as they show advanced tactics such as DACUS and other things but before I joined there wasn't even an explination for a simple jump.
If you do not like the fact I used Ibuki fine, but instead of making it vague use specific character interactions instead of this weird "stance" stuff that distroys the original intent of the article.5'3 ninja (talk) 21:17, December 15, 2019 (UTC)
Irrelevant Information Edit
Hi CammyRyona i just wanted to address that some people tend to add unecessary information at times like for example a user by the name Samern had recently posted in the Ryu page under the "Character Relationships" section where he/she put "Ryu calls him a "friend" if he ends the round with a Ultra Combo in their Rival Battle in Street Fighter IV."
That piece of information sounds like it would fit under the Trivia section yet it's still quite irrelevant since theres enough information that summerizes the character relationship already, i'd like to note that if it's okay with you if things like this happens again i can notify you before removing anything since i usually do those kinds of edits as well as check for typos. Evilcivilian (talk) 21:35, March 8, 2020 (UTC)
Irrelevant Information Response Edit
Thank you for addressing and fixing it. I'm pretty sure this was done with good intentions. As long as the information is appropriate and organized, I don't have a problem with it. CammyRyona (talk) 23:08, March 8, 2019 (UTC)

Oh hey, in case you might not have noticed by now, The QLord is back (but under a different name, like Blackwater). How's it like being one of the new admins?
(P.S. That Blackwater comparison might be a bit far, I apologise)
An experiment to help grow your wiki’s engagement! Edit
Hello! We’ve been analyzing what makes people spend more time on wikis and we’ve identified something. It’s comments! Having comments enabled on a wiki gives it a boost to the time people spend on the pages and engage with the wiki.
We would like to enable comments on your wiki to help it grow as part of an experiment.
This will not happen if you don’t agree with trying this out! It’s entirely up to you!
We believe that this experiment will help your wiki and if you have any problems along the way we can always roll back and disable comments.
So, what do you think? Are you interested in trying this with us? We’d love to work with you to help grow your community!
Ugh, please no. Comments on wikias outside of blogs and such tends to have more cons then pros. I would heavily advise against it. Also, I read that atleast one of this wiki's admins (Lord Grammaticus, currently inactive) was against the idea.--18.104.22.168 04:26, April 18, 2020 (UTC)
One word: Shoot.
Hey, can you check up on these accounts, they seem to be involved in some strange activities.?
Bengus/Naoto Kuroshima page edit Edit
hey, is this page accurate? https://streetfighter.fandom.com/wiki/Bengus#Alpha
i've been doing research on different creators of the Street Fighter games and this page shows Bengus (aka Naoto Kuroshima) having credited in designing for Street Fighter 1 when that game came out in 1987 yet says "He joined Capcom in 1992 and used paints and markers early on." is this an error? cause the known key creators of Street Fighter 1's design was:
- Takashi Nishiyama
- Hiroshi Matsumoto
- Manabu Takemura ( http://fightingstreet.com/folders/variousinfofolder/interviewfolder/manabu_takemuro/creation_of_ryu.jpg ) ( https://web.archive.org/web/20100202000952/http://blog.sfrpg.com.br/post/Manabu-Takemura.aspx ) Evilcivilian (talk) 08:41, June 13, 2020 (UTC)
