Hi, welcome to Street Fighter Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Hashinsho page.
While your help with the katakana and romanization of some of the move names is appreciated, there are some things I would like you to do next time:
- Please do not use foreign codes like , for example, Final Atomic Buster (ファイナルアトミックバス ター, Fainaru Atomikku Basutaa) (See in source mode). It just makes things a little messy to clean up later.
- With katakana, put spaces in between words. Such as Rolling Attack (ローリング アタック, Rooringu Attaku).
- You got some of the long vowels wrong, like with Flash Explosion. You wrote down Samaasoruto Ekusupuroujon instead of Samaasoruto Ekusupuroojon.
Again, your work is very appreciated. It's just these few things I'd like you to follow.
Re: C. Viper
- Persumably it is Viper's fighting style, because she is a CIA agent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Szakigeri (talk • contribs)
Is there anything in her fighting style that resembles Krav Maga? Just asking. Also, is it really a good idea to add something uncomfirmed without Capcom's official input?--220.127.116.11 06:31, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
- We usually source-check things as we see them, so it's not usually that big of a deal. Plus keep in mind that Capcom's representations of certain fighting style aren't always 100% accurate (more by desIgn than anything, we got fireballs everywhere, but you get the idea).
- Also, if Szaki's right about the CIA things, we can only assume that the Street Fighterverse's CIA operates the same, mainly because there's nothing to the contrary (ours may lack the super cool battle suit but that's it). Also note that we try to source Capcom when we can, and present solid sources for when we can't. If the company has something regarding this by any chance, then all the better. You're free to help by pointing us towards any sources if you know them. Lord Grammaticus (talk) 09:11, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for completing the table on Grabs and Throws. I'll go back over the StrategyWiki movelists to see if there's anything else to be added. Lord G. matters. Talk to me. 22:20, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
Re: Fei Long
It is a 1920x1080 resolution screenshot from my copy of the game. PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Version 2012, bought on Steam (in Steam, game language set to Japanese). I took it via printscreen minutes before I posted that message. If you have got the home version of the game, and you can change the game's language to japanese, do it and check it yourself. The original kanjis were correct. The game itself is an official source. A site that is not supervised by Capcom in any way is not official. Otherwise show me an official source that states that his kanjis were correct. Still, you can't deny the game, when nothing could be a more official source, than the game itself. Szakigeri (talk) 23:19, March 30, 2014 (UTC)
- ...I wasn't denying anything, I knew it was from a game. I just needed to know how you pulled the screenshot specifically. :B But thanks regardless. Lord G. matters. Talk to me. 17:46, April 1, 2014 (UTC)
How do you know the input of the upcoming Ultra Combos in Ultra Street Fighter IV? I'm curious.
Decapre's full command list can be seen on one of the pictures. http://www.e-capcom.com/sf4/ The site is official, it comes up if you click Buy now on the official japanese USF4 site. http://www.capcom.co.jp/sf4/
Szakigeri (talk) 19:03, April 19, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, cool. Thank you!
That's also the way you know the inputs for all the new Ultras etc?
Well, I only edited Decapre and her moves. I didn't edit the other new character's moves, so if you see inputs at the other new Ultras, they aren't from me.
But you can verify those, because the other new char's final and full command lists have been posted there: http://usf4.nesica.net/command-list.html
However, Decapre's command list could be experimental. On that picture on e-Capcom, that command list doesn't say anything about ground Sprial Arrow, while it could be seen in her trailer video.
Szakigeri (talk) 16:41, April 20, 2014 (UTC)
Alright! Thanks so much!
Re: Krapface vandalism
Done. I was in the middle of that huge edit I made to the List of moves in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Thanks for notifying me and undoing the vandalism. General Awesomo (talk) 22:59, May 17, 2014 (UTC)
What Goes in a Section Headline
Don't put kanji/rōmaji/translations in the section headlines. That goes in the actual sections. The headlines should be as basic as possible.
The quality of your edits is much appreciated. It's just these two errors you've made needed to be addressed.
Thank you for letting me know, I will do that in the future!
Szakigeri (talk) 11:59, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I've finally thought it's a good idea to include this here. For the longest time we had done our translations here without templates. But after reading up on why to use the Nihongo template, I see the reason why. No problem. General Awesomo (talk) 03:09, June 22, 2014 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I thought too when I started using the template. The translations were without the template but they resembled it so much, it's like we should have done them always with templates, but people were just lazy to do so, they rather made them by hand, to look like it's from the template. Re: Person vandalising multiple pages
What terrible timing. Right when I fly to CEO'14, this crap happens. I see the damage has been undone. I extended his block to the maximum. Thanks for letting me know. General Awesomo (talk) 00:11, June 26, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for listening, and you're welcome, as always. Szakigeri (talk) 02:14, June 26, 2014 (UTC)
Re: Placing Japanese Ultra "catchphrases"
- Too bad I'll be in Germany until Thursday, but after that I'll be ready to do these. Szakigeri (talk) 12:42, June 29, 2014 (UTC)
- Would be highly appreciated. Szakigeri (talk) 17:52, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
Sorry it took so long. Btw, thanks for the reminders, but they didn't need new headlines. It all could be kept in one headline for simplicity. I've changed that in my talk page and, even though I shouldn't really edit other user's talk pages like this, changed this in yours as well, for consistency's sake.
I've implemented my idea in Chun-Li's Hosenka, check it out. Basically, it's combining the quote and Nihongo template at the top together. What do you think? Reply on my talk page so I get a message prompt. General Awesomo (talk) 08:14, July 11, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, and thank you for further implementing it! Congrats on getting the "Wiki Expert" badge for 1,000 edits.
After reviewing the changes, they seem to have turned out all right. Some line breaks might be needed for some to keep it clean, but that's on a case-by-case basis. Something I was worried about was that some Japanese quotes wouldn't have the same meaning as the English quotes. (Or are there some like that?)
- Is your source Capcom based, or is it a community site that deals with such things? Either way, as long as they get their info from credible sources, that's fine by me.
- When searching for a similar source, I found this. Wow! I didn't know the SFII series had so many Japanese quotes for each character! I thought it was just one-and-done like in the North American releases. And even though they are fan translated, so much of the character's personalities bleed through in these quotes. I love Vega's (Claw) quotes! General Awesomo (talk) 22:43, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
Gentle ribbing aside, you want to wait a bit before heading to an admin's page. If one is active, they'll likely be patrolling for vandals and catch them sooner rather than later. -- Lord G. matters. Talk to me. 10:27, August 27, 2014 (UTC)
Re: USFIV Icons
The transparent images don't seem to be cooperating; I was working on Guy's page and noticed the black where nothing should've been. Might have to use a different image...
May I ask what are you doing exactly? When someone find some new HD images it suppose to update the ones that already are in the wiki if thats the case. Say the small image for Poison, you replaced with the very same image, wich althoungh its a little more bigger, it has no transparent background and a blant back background, something the other image did have. --Rare Hunter (talk) 02:20, March 23, 2015 (UTC)
It's an ongoing improvement involving myself and Lord Grammaticus. Check his talk page to see our conversation and plans. -- Saki – At your service. 02:33, March 23, 2015 (UTC)
Can you please explain your reason for undoing my edit about Ken's natural hair color? Makes no sense..--18.104.22.168 20:07, May 13, 2015 (UTC)
Hello! Sorry, I didn't recall these details even though I read the WWE, now I've just checked it and you were totally right. Reverted back to your version. -- Saki – At your service. 20:42, May 13, 2015 (UTC)
Its alright, thanks.--22.214.171.124 03:47, May 14, 2015 (UTC)
My DeeJay edit
Why did you revise it. And Black is a race, not a color in this context. Editing that was incredibly rude on your part.
Lost in Translation
I noticed you deleted what I had written. May I ask why?
Sizzle 04:15, July 23, 2015 (UTC) The Panda
Yes I did. On the Wiki, we do not use translations when it comes to Japanese. Let it be a quote, the name of a technique or the name of a character or a move. These are given by the game and we add those. The fact that you think that your translations are what they actually say, is insufficient, considering that the primary language of the game is Japanese and the English translations are based on them and not vice versa. If you had noticed, the English entry quotes keep changing build by build. If you got the exact Japanese texts and you would add English translations, those would be more correct but still, we are always encouraging the official texts and translations.
-- Saki – At your service. 11:59, July 23, 2015 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Did not know that, sorry.
Sizzle 22:07, July 23, 2015 (UTC) The Panda
No problem. We appreciate if you can add such content, but try to rather listen to the already released videos and hear out what they're actually saying.

Umm, go ahead, of course. -- Saki – At your service. 15:06, September 29, 2015 (UTC)
When you have time, could you send an PNG photo (Sf4charselectguile.png) in the Heroes Wiki? I'd do it on my own, but my iPad doesn't download PNG photos. Sorry. Here's the link for the Heroes Wiki: hero.wikia.com.--AlexHoskins (talk) 16:59, September 29, 2015 (UTC)
Yes I did, sorry, but I'm pretty busy. Can't believe you have no access to a computer. -- Saki – At your service. 18:45, October 2, 2015 (UTC)
This wikia user Armaxilump added Sakura, Guile, Cody, C. Viper, Sagat, Rose, Guy, E. Honda, Ingrid, Q, and Dhalsim on the SFV article. I'm not saying they will not appear in the future but as of right now, they are unconfirmed characters at this moment. He claims some of the first will appear this year and the rest next year but he makes the edits with no source at all, it is right now speculation. Can you undo his edits? Thanks.--126.96.36.199 14:44, October 17, 2015 (UTC)
Sure. I don't know what he's thinking but this isn't how this wikia works. One can only add official information claimed by Capcom. If you register, you can undo those kind of edits as well. -- Saki – At your service. 17:01, October 17, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks a lot!--188.8.131.52 18:04, October 17, 2015 (UTC)
A little upset at myself
I'm sure you've seen me as one of the guys who's done a couple of edits on wikia from time to time. And I'm also dead sure you've gotten more than annoyed with some incorrect shit I've done.
Something as usual happened on one of the usual wikias I edit, and of course, people have pointed out "your edit is pointless as hell". Some similar shit has happened at Koei Wiki in the past, and trying to put romaji on the move lists on Under Night In-Birth Wiki got me banned by the Sourenga himself. :P Yeah, I'm pretty much a "REALLY HELPFUL" contributor here. Hell, back then during some really meaningful edits I believed to be so on Shaman King wiki, there was this one guy who kept undoing ALL of my hard working edits. Because of that, some of the pages had to be helplessly locked there.
Some people have told me "editing takes time and practice to look over what to proofread"...but again, I'm somehow always making more bad edits as much as making more frequent bad plays in League of Legends just to piss people off. Right now, I'm just a dumb clueless mofo with little idea on how to vent other than (that's it I'm going back to Deviantart on Wikipedia to work on my own translations and shit with my OC's).
And to quote other people since typing this sort of thing is very different from actually "talking about it", it may seem like I'm just a dumbass fishing for symphathy, or at least a dumbass who wanted to share this crap with someone who "sorta" comes from the same page...? (No bullshit pun intended though.) SneaselSawashiro (talk) 04:06, November 14, 2015 (UTC)
Re: Yun and Yang
Use proper English and be formal. In both edits you've added there were mistakes. -- Saki – At your service. 13:39, November 15, 2015 (UTC)
HelperW and Bratken
This unreasonable wikia user HelperW keep adding this seemingly irrelevant trivia bit in the Bratken article that (and I quote) "Bratken appears To Be Bigger than Hugo." Mythril Wyrm tried to reason with HelperW as the former moved the trivia bit to where it made more sense but for some reason, HelperW refuse to let his edit be removed from the Trivia section as he keeps adding it when you undo it. He even go as far as insult Wyrm.--184.108.40.206 09:15, November 16, 2015 (UTC)

- Customize your wikia's look by visiting the Theme Designer, where you can add color and style to your background and wordmark for your desktop visitors.
- Customize your wikia’s mobile home page and convert infoboxes to the new portable infobox format for your mobile device visitors.
- Stop by Community Central to stay informed through our staff blog, ask questions on our community forum, or chat with fellow Wikians.
- Lastly, visit our help pages to learn the ins and outs of using Wikia, including tips for managing your community, how to attract contributors, and how to add other admins.
Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wikia! -- Wendy (talk) 04:45, January 16, 2016 (UTC)
Thank you very much! -- Saki – At your service. 12:17, January 16, 2016 (UTC)
"Thanks for your edit to the Ibuki page." you said. I made a totally valid edit on this page and guess what? It was deleted. If these kind of Wiki is an excuse for ego battles, them put some rules for editing or even block anonymous non ego-constestants edits at all, so the unaware person avoid wasting time providing valid information and you can go on being the supreme wiki gurus.
Street Fighter V Bracket Tournament
Hey there Szakigeri! My name is Doug from Wikia's Community Development Team. With the release of Street Fighter V yesterday, we launched an exciting bracket tournament between the 16 characters included in launch. Users can vote for who wins in each head-to-head match up over the next three weeks to see who takes the top spot! I wanted to ask you if I could do a few things to help get more eyes/votes on it.
1. Could I feature the bracket tournament in the main page slider, allowing users who come to main page to see the event is happening? 2. Can I embed a blogroll featuring user blogs on the right rail of the main page? That will also have the added benefit of getting more eyes/posts on the blogs here on the wiki!
How do these ideas sound to you? Let me know if you're on board with these or not, I appreciate it! Thanks and have a good one : > TheBlueRogue •(profile)•(talk)•(email@example.com) 20:05, February 17, 2016 (UTC)
Someone recently nominated the Street Fighter wiki for inclusion in our gaming footers. I was wondering if you were interested?
Sure, it would be an honour. Thanks for letting me know.

Talk page deletion?
Hey, I was wondering if users are allowed to delete their talk page? I tried to ages ago and got a message from an Anon saying that it's against wiki rules. Just wanted to seek clarification. Heatlineheard (talk) 22:28, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
I don't know, actually, but this article might help you:

Messing up Gill's page for being an Anti-Christ
Hey Szakigeri... There's some wikia contibutor just mess up Gill's bio data by ranting and mocking about his concept for being an Anti-Christ even his organization as well for being compared from both religions... especially with vulgar languages too.
