The Waning Moon (ワニングムーン Waningu Mūn?) is one of Dee Jay's special attacks introduced in Ultra Street Fighter IV's OMEGA Mode.

- "A roundhouse kick performed from Jus Cool that cannot be blocked crouching. You can continue your attack even if blocked, making it useful when worked into sequences intended to slip through an opponent's guard."

In Street Fighter 6, Waning Moon is executed by pressing Medium Kick during the back step of Jus Cool. Dee Jay hops forward for a hammer kick with his rear leg, dropping his opponent. This serves as an overhead to surprise a crouching opponent. The Overdrive version, however, registers as a regular hit.
