Street Fighter V[edit | edit source]

During sunset, the Warrior Prophet is seen monologuing in a place called "Ancient Altar". He forsees that during the next 'Hour of Battle', Necalli will consume the souls of three warriors. When he ends talking, it is revealed that Necalli has come to devour the soul of the Warrior Prophet, who takes solace in knowing that only the strongest warriors witness Necalli. After a short battle, the Warrior Prophet is defeated and consumed by Necalli. However, upon consuming the Warrior Prophet, Necalli's appearance changes from his original form to a much more human-looking one, with the scars and markings of the Warrior Prophet transferring to him.

Once every few hundred years, stars herald "The Hour of the Battle", and Necalli walks this plane.

When the next "Hour of the Battle" comes, many warriors will nourish him to his satiety.
The first of these warriors agonizes to proceed on his path. Inside him the red power burns at his soul.

All warriors, will find themselves unable to avoid the fate of Necalli.
The next warrior to fall, is the one who fills the world with destruction.
The force of absolute destruction, will clash against the force determined to consume everything.
The winner will be... (shows Necalli winning)
To witness Necalli... is to know that you are a true and strong warrior.
