Description[]

Ultra Street Fighter IV[]

Executed by pressing forward and pressing Heavy Kick, Dee Jay spins on himself and performs a spinning high kick aimed at the opponent's face.

Street Fighter 6[]

Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously (or pressing Drive Impact for Modern Control), Dee Jay steps forward for a high kick, blasting his opponent back.

Tactics[]

Like all Drive Impacts, Wild Beat has 2-hits of armor during the startup frames. This makes it useful to absorb the opponent's attacks and retaliating as they are recovering. Hitting the opponent with Wild Beat as a Punish Counter puts them crumple state on hit, giving Dee Jay enough time to start a damaging combo. In the middle of the screen, this move can push the opponent back on block. This gives Dee Jay enough time to charge for an Air Slasher or perform a Drive Rush to close the distance.
