Description[]
- "Grab an airborne opponent, bite them while falling to the ground, and then bite them once again. Throws your opponent without switching places with them."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) while Blanka and his opponent are near each other in the air. When Blanka is in midair, he grabs his opponent by the collar and pulls them close. Blanka chomps at his opponent and tackles them back down to the ground, mounting on top of them upon landing. With his paws still on the opponent's shoulders, Blanka leans back before biting them for a second time,, leaving his opponent laying on the ground.
Tactics[]
Blanka has a variety of anti-airs to make his opponent second-guess about jumping such as Standing Heavy Kick or Wild Edge. Blanka also has Vertical Roll as his primary anti-air move, although it requires a down charge to perform. While Blanka's has decent air-to-air attacks, Wild Bites inflicts more damage than any of them. With a 5-frame startup, Blanka can quickly surprise the opponent with his air throw at the last minute. The main drawback for this move is that Blanka needs to be up close to deliver this move. If he's out of range, Blanka may not only whiff his air throw, but he may also be vulnerable to a Punish Counter.
