Description[]

YogaSmash

Dhalsim bashing Cammy's head using Yoga Smash.

"Grab and punch your opponent's head twice before sending them flying with a palm strike. Throws your opponent without switching places with them."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) near an opponent. Dhalsim grabs his opponent by the head and bends them forward before delivering a barrage of punches across the top of their head.

Prior to the Street Fighter IV series, the move is executed by pressing forward or back and Medium Punch at close range.

In Street Fighter 6, Dhalsim bashes the opponent's head twice before delivering a huge slap across the face that knocks them to the ground.

Tactics[]

Yoga Smash

Dhalsim slapping Cammy across the face using Yoga Smash.

Even though Dhalsim's gameplan utilizes long-range pokes and fireballs, he does have multiple options after scoring a knockdown. By teleporting toward the opponent as they are recovering, Dhalsim puts the opponent in a situation where they are forced to guess Dhalsim's next attack. While he could pester them with Light normals or fish for hit-confirms, Dhalsim can also use his throw to keep them on their heels, especially when they are constantly crouch-blocking. In Street Fighter 6, this move has decent corner-carry. Dhalsim can follow up with a Drive Rush and go for a Crouching Medium Kick to sneak a low attack while allowing him to maintain frame advantage.
