Description[]
- "Grab your opponent with both arms and toss them behind you. Throws your opponent while switching places with them."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) and pushing backwards near an opponent. Dhalsim grabs his opponent by the collar with both hands. He then pivots on his back foot to face the opposite direction. Dhalsim then pulls the opponent over his shoulder, flipping them over and causing them to land on their back.
Tactics[]
Even though Dhalsim's gameplan utlizes long-range pokes and fireballs, he does have multiple options after scoring a knockdown. By teleporting toward the opponent as they are recovering, Dhalsim puts the opponent in a situation where they are forced to guess Dhalsim's next attack. While he could pester them with Light normals or fish for hit-confirms, Dhalsim can also use his throw to keep them on their heels, especially when they are constantly crouch-blocking. One of the main benefits of this throw is that it switches sides with the opponent. This is useful to put them back in the corner or to create space so that Dhalsim can continue zoning out the opponent with projectiles or his long-range pokes.
Trivia[]
- This was replaced by Yoga Hoop in Street Fighter V, before reverting back to its original in Street Fighter 6.
