Description[]

Zankasen

Juri bring her foot down on top of Cammy's head during Zankasen.

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) while Juri and her opponent are near each other in the air. After grabbing her opponent by the collar midair, she places the underside of her foot on her opponent's shoulder and uses it as a platform to jump and flip over her opponent. Juri then raises her leg and performs an overhead axe kick, hitting the back of her opponent's head that sends them crashing into the ground.

In Street Fighter 6, the move retains the same name with different animations. After Juri places her foot and stands upright on top of her opponent's back, she swings her opposite leg downward in an axe kicking motion. Juri's heel strikes against the back of the opponent's head, causing them to crash face-first on the ground as Juri lands on the opposite side.

Tactics[]

Zanka-sen

Juri kicking the back of Cammy's head during Zanka-sen.

Juri's air throw serves as a decent anti-air attack. It is good for stuffing out close jump ins, resulting in a knockdown. Zankasen also inflicts the same amount of damage and stun as Juri's back throw. This move also gives Juri good okizeme. If her opponent quick rises after the air throw, Juri can follow-up with Standing Hard Punch for a hit-confirm combo.

In Street Fighter 6, this move switches sides with the opponent. This is useful as an air-to-air option to inflict decent damage and put the opponent in the corner. Depending on when Zanka-sen is performed in the air, Juri can maintain okizeme as her opponent is recovering.
